A diverse collection of songs is set to define this Eid’s music scene, with releases spanning folk fusion, romantic ballads and contemporary pop. Alongside major production houses, several artists are also releasing new tracks through their own YouTube channels.

After more than two decades, the duo Habib Wahid and folk singer Kaya are returning with a new collaboration titled ‘Koi Roila Re’, featuring vocals by American-Bengali singer, songwriter and producer Muza.

The pair previously reshaped Bangladeshi folk fusion through albums such as ‘Krishno’ in 2003 and ‘Maya’ in 2004. The new track is scheduled for release on May 27 on Habib Wahid’s YouTube channel.

Singer Balam is also releasing the title track from his fifth solo album ‘Mawla’ as a music video during Eid ul Azha, following the earlier release of four audio tracks during Eid ul Fitr. The song, co-written by Rashed Newton and Balam.

Imran Mahmudul will release the song ‘Mon Bujhlo Na’ on his YouTube channel, with lyrics and composition by Gunjon Chowdhury. Meanwhile, romantic ballad ‘Prem’ will be released featuring Abanti Sithi and Amit De.

Dhruba Music Station is also releasing a musical film titled ‘Ruposhi Sreemangal’, featuring Asif Akbar and London-based singer Rubayyat Jahan. The project highlights the history, heritage and natural beauty of Sreemangal.

Other releases include ‘Premkahini’ by Mahtim Shakib and Kona, ‘Kan Pete Shon’ by Milon and Rodela and ‘Tomar Rodela Akashe’ by Liza and Anik.

Fuad and Nusrat are returning together after three years with the song ‘Loke Bole’, accompanied by a music video directed by Indian filmmaker Baba Yadav. The track will be released on May 26 across SVF Music and Bling Music channels.

From Noakhali’s Maijdee, artist Oyshee is releasing ‘Noakhaillya Maiya’ featuring rapper Black Zang.

Additionally, Reza Karim’s ‘Mone Jodi Jhor’ and Zisan Khan Shuvo’s ‘Mon Bujhi Na’ will be released on May 25 under the banner of Gaanchill Music.
