Dhallywood actress Pori Moni has strongly condemned the alleged attack and harassment of actress Azmeri Haque Badhan in Venice, Italy.

In separate Facebook posts, Pori Moni expressed anger over the incident after a video of Badhan describing the alleged assault circulated on social media.

Badhan recently claimed that several people verbally abused and physically harassed her while she was in Venice.

She also alleged that they tried to force her to chant political slogans and that her brother’s wife, who was accompanying her, was pushed during the incident.

The allegations have sparked widespread discussion and criticism on social media.

Sharing a report about the incident from a private television channel’s Facebook page, Pori Moni wrote, “Nothing much. Just a few sons of dogs barking on the streets.”

In another post, she added, “To them, the crying of a human child does not matter at all. They didn’t even care.”

Pori Moni’s remarks have drawn strong reactions from the entertainment industry and social media users, with many expressing outrage over the alleged incident.

Badhan was in Venice to attend the premiere of Rubaiyat Hossain’s The Difficult Bride, which is competing in the Orizzonti section of the Venice Film Festival.

The film marks a significant milestone for Bangladeshi cinema as the country’s first feature to compete in the prestigious section.
