The Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has published the final list of centres for the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.
According to the final list, the total number of SSC exam centres under the Dhaka board now stands at 507, including seven centres abroad.
A notification signed by the board’s Controller of Examinations, Professor SM Kamal Uddin Haider, was issued on Tuesday. The list has been published on the board’s official website.
In a separate order issued on 5 January, the Dhaka board announced the cancellation of several SSC centres, citing administrative reasons and a decline in the number of candidates.
The cancelled centres include Dhaka-69, Hazi MA Gafur Government High School, Dhaka-78, Hazi Billat Ali Adarsha High School, Shibaloy-2, Rawan Ibna Ramzan School and College, Joynagar, Joynagar Julmat Ali High School, Kamarkhali, Kamarkhali High School, and Mirzapur Cadet College.
Other cancelled centres are Kortia, HM Institution School and College, Talma Nazimuddin High School, Nagarkanda-2 Sajeda Kabiruddin Municipal Girls’ High School, Damudya-2, Kaneswar SC Edward Institution, Rari Kandi Hazi Bari Girls’ High School, Charbhaga Govt Ideal High School, and Dhaka-30, Anwara Begum Muslim Girls High School and College.
In addition, Liaquat Ali Smriti School and College under the Baliakandi-2 centre has been cancelled due to a reduced number of examinees. Bangladesh Doel Academy, Athens, Greece, has also been suspended.
