Southeast Bank Green School celebrated Pohela Baishakh on 16 April with a fair held on its campus, marking the Bengali New Year 1433 in a festive setting.
Southeast Bank PLC Chairman MA Kashem and Managing Director and CEO Md Khalid Mahmood Khan attended the event alongside senior bank executives, the bank said.
Board member Engr Khandker Badrul Hassan was also present.
The programme featured food stalls, game zones and booths displaying traditional items, reflecting Bengali cultural heritage.
The campus was decorated with colourful themes, accompanied by folk music.
In his address, the chairman highlighted the school’s growth and commitment to excellence.
Southeast Bank Green School Principal Syeda Nasrin Akhter thanked the chairman, guests, teachers and students for their contributions to the event.
The bank said the celebration marked another milestone in the school’s journey towards excellence.
