Singer Bangladesh Limited reported a 14.3 per cent increase in revenue and a Tk 21.4 crore rise in gross profit in 2025, despite recent socio-economic challenges.
A Singer press release said the home appliance manufacturer has undertaken a series of transformation initiatives in recent years to strengthen its production capacity and enhance consumer experience.
As part of its expansion drive, the company, a subsidiary of Beko under Türkiye’s Koç Holding, has launched its first in-house air conditioner production line and begun exporting to the European market.
One of the key developments was the inauguration of its state-of-the-art Home Appliances Plant at the Bangladesh Special Economic Zone (BSEZ) earlier this year.
Built with an investment of $78 million, the facility is expected to generate up to 4,000 jobs while supporting innovation and sustainable manufacturing.
Production has already started at the plant, covering refrigerators, televisions, air conditioners, washing machines and other appliances for the domestic market.
With more than 90 per cent of its products now manufactured locally, Singer Bangladesh aims to reduce reliance on imports and strengthen the country’s industrial base.
The company also completed its first export shipment of wire harness components from the new facility, marking a step forward for Bangladesh’s manufacturing and export potential.
Singer Bangladesh said the investments are part of a long-term strategy to meet evolving market needs and drive future growth.
