As part of the ongoing celebrations marking Nazrul Year, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy has organised a special cultural evening titled Nazrul’s Leto Songs and Kobi Gaan.
The programme will take place at 6:30pm on Thursday, 3 September, at the National Music and Dance Centre auditorium.
The second part of the programme will feature performances of Leto songs and Kobi Gaan.
Cultural Affairs Minister Nitai Roy Chowdhury will attend the programme as the chief guest.
State Minister for Cultural Affairs Ali Newaz Mahmud Khaiyam and Information Adviser Dr Zahed Ur Rahman will attend as special guests.
Cultural Affairs Secretary Kaniz Mowla will preside over the programme.
Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy Director General and poet Sheikh Rezauddin Ahmed, known as Rezauddin Stalin, will deliver the welcome address.
Shilpakala Academy Secretary Mohammad Zakir Hossain will deliver the vote of thanks.
