The government has reassigned three secretaries as part of a broader reshuffle in the administration.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued three separate notifications in this regard on Friday, signed by Senior Assistant Secretary Md Borman Hossain.
According to one of the notifications, AJM Salahuddin Nagari, contractual chairman of the land reforms board, has been appointed secretary (contractual) of the public division under the President’s Office.
In another move, Rafiqul I Mohamed, secretary (contractual) of the Public Division, has been transferred to the rural development and cooperatives division in the same capacity.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Showkat Rashid Chowdhury, secretary (contractual) of the rural development and cooperatives division, has been transferred to the land reforms board and appointed its chairman.
The notifications said the changes were made in the public interest and would take effect immediately.
