Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has announced that legal action will be taken if illegally installed posters, banners, and festoons are not removed within the next seven days.
In a public notice issued on Tuesday, the DNCC said that banners, festoons, posters, advertisement nameplates, signboards, and LED billboards have been illegally placed on the roofs and walls of houses and buildings within its jurisdiction.
Individuals or organisations responsible for these installations have been asked to remove them at their own initiative within seven days, the notice said.
Failing to do so will result in fines and other legal measures, it added.
