In the first 18 days of October 2025, Bangladesh received $1.57 billion in remittances, according to the latest data from Bangladesh Bank. This marks a 3% year-on-year increase for the same period, signaling consistent growth in the nation’s remittance inflows.
In the fiscal year 2025-26, from July to 18 October, expatriate Bangladeshis have sent a total of $9.15 billion, reflecting a 13.6% rise from $8.05 billion during the same period last year.
The inflow of remittances has remained robust, with record figures of $2.48 billion in July, $2.42 billion in August, and $2.68 billion in September.
In FY 2024-25, Bangladesh reached an all-time high in remittance earnings, totaling $30.33 billion, which marked a 27% increase from $23.74 billion in the previous fiscal year.
