Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Friday visited the Museum of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in Beijing, where he toured exhibitions showcasing the history and development of China’s ruling party.
The visit took place after the Prime Minister’s meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People as part of his four-day official visit to China.
Upon arrival, Tarique Rahman was received by the museum’s curator, who welcomed him and guided him through the facility.
Accompanied by his wife, Dr Zubaida Rahman, and members of the Bangladesh delegation, the Prime Minister visited various permanent galleries depicting the history of the Communist Party of China. He also viewed an immersive audio-visual coaster presentation at the museum.
At the end of the visit, Tarique Rahman signed the visitors’ book.
The prime minister left the museum at around 12:40 pm local time for the Diaoyutai State Guest House, where he was seen off by the museum’s curator.
Earlier in the day, Tarique Rahman held bilateral talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
