The Pakistan cricket team is set to arrive in Dhaka on 8 March for their three-match One Day International series against Bangladesh. Both teams will take the field for the first ODI on 11 March after practice sessions on 10 March. The remaining fixtures are scheduled for 13 and 15 March, with all matches to be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.

Ahead of the players’ arrival, a five-member Pakistan coaching staff landed in Dhaka via SriLankan Airlines on 7 March at around 12 noon. The staff, who had stayed behind in Sri Lanka following the team’s exit from the Super Eight stage of the T20 World Cup, were the first to reach Bangladesh.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed that head coach Mike Hesson, bowling coach Ashley Noffke, fielding coach Shane McDermott, physiotherapist Cliff Dixon, and strength & conditioning coach Brent Luden would join the team directly in Dhaka.

Prior to the Bangladesh tour, Pakistan’s squad underwent rigorous preparation at the Hanif Mohammad High Performance Centre in Karachi. Players have been sharpening their skills through intensive training sessions before departing for Dhaka.

Due to family commitments, regular team manager Naveed Akram is unable to join the squad, with Irteza Kumail serving as interim manager. Batting coach Hanif Malik, physiotherapist Cliff Dixon, and strength & conditioning coach Brent Luden will also work with the team in Bangladesh.

In addition, key support staff joining the team include performance analyst Talha Ejaz, media manager Syed Naeem Ahmed, security manager Salman Liaqat, team doctor Dr Wajid Ali Rafai, and masseur Muhammad Ehsan.
