Shaheen Shah Afridi praised Mustafizur Rahman after Lahore Qalandars beat Multan Sultans in a high scoring match. He called Mustafizur one of the best bowlers in the world. He also spoke highly of Sikandar Raza while talking about his bowling unit.
Lahore batted first in the 13 over match. They scored 185 runs. Multan tried to chase the target but managed 165 runs. Lahore won the match by 20 runs.
Mustafizur was the standout bowler for Lahore. He gave away 37 runs in three overs. But he made a strong start with the ball. He took two key wickets in his first and third overs. He removed Sahibzada Farhan, who scored 24 off 15 balls, and Shan Masood, who made 44 off 18 balls.
After the match, Shaheen said, “We have some of the best bowlers in the world in our team. We have Fizz, we have Haris. They are top-class bowlers and doing very well. And Sikandar Raza is the number one all-rounder in the world. Why wouldn’t we use him?”
Lahore will play their fourth match on April 9. The defending champions have won two of their first three matches.
