Bangladesh will have two officials at the ICC Under-19 World Cup. Masudur Rahman Mukul will serve as an umpire at the tournament. He earned the role after strong performances in recent years. Neeyamur Rashid Rahul will work as a match referee.
The ICC Under-19 World Cup will start in early 2026. The tournament will run from 15 January to 6 February. A total of 16 teams will take part. They are divided into four groups. The event will feature 41 matches over 23 days.
Group A includes Bangladesh, India, United States of America and New Zealand. Group B has Zimbabwe, Pakistan, England and Scotland. Group C features Australia, Ireland, Japan and Sri Lanka. Group D includes Tanzania, West Indies, Afghanistan and South Africa.
Bangladesh will open their campaign against India on 17 January in Bulawayo. They will face New Zealand at the same venue on 20 January. Bangladesh will play their final group match against the United States of America on 23 January.
On the opening day, Zimbabwe will face Scotland. Tanzania will play West Indies in their first World Cup match. Japan will return to the tournament after playing in the 2020 edition, when Bangladesh won the title.
