He will make his Dhallywood debut in the upcoming film ‘Nasib’, taking on the role of its principal villain.
Director Mohammad Iqbal confirmed the casting, saying Rishi would travel to Bangladesh this month to take part in the film’s shooting. The actor will appear in several important action sequences.
The first phase of ‘Nasib’ was filmed at various locations in Cox’s Bazar. The production team is now preparing to begin the second phase in Bogura, with principal photography scheduled to start on 9 November.
“We are now heading to Bogura for the second phase of shooting for ‘Nasib’. The main shooting will begin there on the 9th. Mukesh Rishi is also coming to Bangladesh this month to take part in the film’s production,” Iqbal said.
Rishi has built a career spanning more than three decades, earning recognition for his imposing screen presence, deep voice and memorable villainous roles.
Although audiences primarily associate him with Hindi cinema, his work extends across Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Punjabi films.
He has shared the screen with Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan in films such as ‘Sooryavansham’, ‘Lal Baadshah’ and ‘Kohram’. His collaborations with Salman Khan include ‘Judwaa’, ‘Bandhan’ and ‘Garv: Pride and Honour’.
