International flight operations at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram have been disrupted by the ongoing war in the Middle East, with dozens of flights cancelled over the past several days.

The airport authorities said six more international flights were cancelled on Monday due to the continued closure of several key airfields in the region.

According to officials, flight operations to major Middle Eastern destinations including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Doha have been disrupted since 28 February as airports and airspace in parts of the region remain restricted.
