The MASTUL Foundation has launched an emergency initiative to distribute 30 tonnes of relief supplies to those affected by ongoing floods across various regions of Bangladesh.
As part of this humanitarian response, the foundation’s Emergency Response Team departed on 10 July, carrying essential supplies to the affected areas.
In the initial phase, the team reached remote communities in the Satkania and Lohagara upazilas via Banshkhali in Chattogram, where relief operations are currently underway. Stranded families are receiving dry food, safe drinking water, essential medicines, and other emergency provisions.
Ashraful Alam, a member of the Emergency Response Team, noted that the floods have created a “severe humanitarian crisis” by leaving many without access to basic necessities or healthcare.

He stated that the team is also assisting vulnerable families in relocating to safer locations while providing emergency support to help them cope with the difficult conditions.
Commenting on the initiative, Abu Mohammad Kamruzzaman, Additional Chief Executive Officer of the MASTUL Foundation, said, “By the grace of Almighty Allah, we have undertaken an initiative to distribute 30 tonnes of emergency relief among flood-affected communities.”
He added that operations have already begun in remote and severely impacted areas and that the foundation will expand its efforts as the situation evolves to ensure assistance reaches those who need it most.
The MASTUL Foundation has a significant history of humanitarian intervention in Bangladesh, having previously provided food, water, and medical supplies during the devastating floods of 2022 and 2024.
The organisation remains committed to delivering timely and effective support to those impacted by the current environmental crisis.
