A man was stabbed to death by miscreants in Dhaka’s Hazaribagh early Wednesday. The attack occurred around 2am in front of a house on Bhagalpur Lane.
The victim, Sagar Hossain Bullet, 28, a resident of Bhagalpur Lane, was found lying injured on the street.
Hazaribagh Police Station Sub‑Inspector ABM Touhid said police rushed to the spot after receiving an emergency call and rescued him.
He was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment around 5:45am. Multiple stab wounds were found on his head, the officer said.
The perpetrators have not yet been identified. Several police teams are investigating the incident, he added.
The body has been kept at the Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy.
