The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) introduced a new under-23 division bridging the under-19 setup and the high-performance unit. Naved Nawaz will oversee the department under the game development committee.
The under-23 squad will host Malaysia for a five-match series in Dhaka starting in August. The touring side arrives in the first week of August. Players from the Top End T20 squad will contest two T20 matches against Malaysia on August 8 and August 10 at Mirpur. Three one-day matches will follow the T20 fixtures.
