Singer Jaan Kumar Sanu, son of veteran playback singer Kumar Sanu, has been admitted to hospital after testing positive for COVID-19.
According to the Times of India, the singer confirmed the diagnosis on Sunday, 12 July, by sharing a video from his hospital bed. Rather than alarming his followers, Jaan chose a light-hearted approach while updating fans about his health.
Jaan has not disclosed when his symptoms first appeared or how long doctors expect him to remain under medical observation. He has also not shared details about the severity of his infection, the treatment he is receiving or whether anyone who recently came into contact with him has undergone testing.
Jaan rose to prominence after appearing on Bigg Boss 14. Since then, he has remained active as a singer and performer while regularly sharing updates about his personal and professional life on social media.
