Janata Bank PLC held a meeting of its Asset-Liability Management Committee (ALCO) on September 22 at the bank’s head office under the chairmanship of Managing Director Md Mojibur Rahman.
Deputy managing directors Md Golam Mortuza, Md Fayaz Alam, Md Nazrul Islam, and Md Ashraful Alam, along with general managers and relevant deputy general managers, attended the meeting.
During the session, Managing Director Md Mojibur Rahman instructed officials to devise strategies in line with the current situation, focusing on boosting low-interest deposits and foreign remittances, recovering and reducing classified loans, and expediting the recovery of written-off loans, among other directives.
