Janata Bank PLC held its 895th board meeting on Thursday, 23 July 2026, where the board discussed measures for recovering classified loans and other necessary actions related to the bank’s operations.
The meeting was chaired by Janata Bank PLC Board Chairman Muhd Fazlur Rahman. Directors Badre Munir Ferdous, Abdul Majid Sheikh, Abdul Awal Sarker, Dr Md Shahadat Hossain and Md Ahsan Kabir attended the meeting along with Managing Director Md Mojibor Rahman and Deputy Managing Director Kazi Abdur Rahman.
Janata Bank said in a press release that the meeting focused on classified loan recovery and other issues requiring attention from the bank.
The board reviewed the bank’s ongoing priorities and discussed necessary steps to strengthen its operations.
