Nine innovative works from eight countries have been selected for the Best Immersive Work category at the 79th Festival de Cannes. The third edition of the Immersive Competition will run from May 12 to 22 at the Carlton Hotel.
The selection highlights a growing and evolving form of storytelling, ranging from large-scale visual installations to virtual reality experiences, reflecting new ways of creating and engaging with narrative art.
This year’s edition introduces a new technical setup designed to support shared immersive experiences for audiences of up to 200 participants.
