Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology and Science and Technology Faqir Mahbub Anam has urged officials to accelerate the implementation of development projects under the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division’s Annual Development Programme (ADP) for fiscal year 2025–26.
The call came during a review meeting on the progress of ICT Division projects held at the division’s conference room in Agargaon, Dhaka, on Wednesday, according to a press release.
The meeting reviewed ongoing activities of the ICT Division, assessed the implementation status of various development projects under ADP and discussed future action plans.
Project directors presented detailed updates on the progress of their respective projects.
Addressing the meeting as chief guest, the minister stressed the importance of ensuring efficient and effective implementation of development initiatives.
He urged the concerned officials to carry out their duties with professionalism, accountability and dedication to ensure projects are completed within the stipulated timeframe.
The meeting was chaired by Acting Secretary of the ICT Division Md Mamunur Rashid Bhuiyan. Senior officials of the ICT Division, representatives of relevant agencies and project directors were also present.
