International Chamber of Commerce Bangladesh (ICC Bangladesh) organised a day-long workshop on international trade financing following least developed country (LDC) graduation at a hotel in Dhaka on Saturday.
Bangladesh Association of Banks Chairman Abdul Hai Sarker attended the closing session as chief guest and distributed certificates among the participants.
The session was also attended by ICC Bangladesh Secretary General Ataur Rahman, General Manager Ajay B Saha, workshop resource person Prof Shah Md Ahsan Habib of the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management, Bangladesh Association of Banks Acting Secretary General Shaikh Sohail Khurshid.
A total of 92 participants took part in the workshop, including representatives from 19 banks, nine clients of Eastern Bank and Mutual Trust Bank, and three participants from the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management.
