Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Hardik Pandya has set his sights on winning a sixth Indian Premier League title for the franchise this season.
Returning to lead MI after a successful T20 World Cup campaign, Pandya is focused on building his legacy and driving the team to play its best cricket yet.
Speaking to Cricbuzz ahead of the season, Pandya emphasized the importance of nurturing young talent. “I want Mumbai to continue its legacy as a team that backs young players and helps them reach their full potential,” he said.
“The ultimate dream is to win the IPL for the sixth time,” Pandya added.
“At the same time, it’s about building a legacy. Mumbai Indians already have an incredible legacy, but I still remember when I was a new kid—the passion, the hard work, and how the team backed me and helped me grow”, he concluded.
