The price of gold fluctuates incessantly. This time, the price of 22-carat gold has decreased by Tk1,925 per bhori and now stands at Tk2,57,774.
Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) announced another price reduction on Sunday. The new price is effective from Monday across the country.
According to the new announcement, the price of 21-carat gold is Tk2,46,052 per bhori, the price of 18-carat gold is Tk2,10,885 per bhori, and traditional method gold is Tk1,72,569 per bhori.
The price of silver remains unchanged.
Before that, after a series of increases, the price of gold had reached Tk2,86,000. This remains the highest price on record to date.
