Farida Khanam, a deputy secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dhaka.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification on Wednesday confirming the appointment.
Incumbent Deputy Commissioner Md Rezaul Karim has been withdrawn from the post and reassigned as Deputy Secretary at the Cabinet Division.
