Thieves broke into Real Madrid defender Eder Militao’s home during his team’s 2-1 victory over Barcelona in El Clasico last Monday.
According to recent reports of Spanish newspaper El Mundo, the burglars stole jewellery and watches worth around €350,000.
Militao was on the bench for Real Madrid when the robbery took place.
The thieves entered his house through a bathroom window on the third floor. They then searched his bedroom and took several valuable items, including bags, watches and jewellery.
Militao’s family were inside the house at the time. They were watching the match on the ground floor and did not notice anything unusual.
The incident became the latest in a series of robberies involving well known footballers in Spain.
Former Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang suffered a broken jaw during an armed robbery at his home in 2022.
Real Betis forward Troy Parrott and former Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Sergio Rico also suffered robberies in October.
