Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) recently hosted an event at its head office in Dhaka to recognise women entrepreneurs in the small and medium enterprise (SME) sector.
These entrepreneurs were awarded incentives from Bangladesh Bank for their successful repayment of loans under the “Small Enterprise Refinance Scheme for Women Entrepreneurs”.
At the event, the women entrepreneurs were joined by M Khorshed Anowar, deputy managing director and head of retail and SME Banking at EBL, Md Shabu Munshi, head of asset-SME, and Tanzeri Hoque, head of priority and women banking.
