City Bank PLC has signed an agreement with Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution PLC to collect utility bills through its banking network and digital channels.
The deal was formalised at Titas Gas Bhaban in Dhaka, according to a press release.
Under the arrangement, City Bank will facilitate bill collection for Titas Gas customers using its distribution network and internet banking platforms.
City Bank Deputy Managing Director and Head of Wholesale Banking Mesbaul Asif Siddiqui and Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution PLC General Manager and Company Secretary Md Lutful Hyder Masum signed the agreement on behalf of their organisations.
Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution PLC Managing Director Shahnewaz Parvez and City Bank PLC Head of Corporate and Institutional Liability Tahsin Haq were present at the signing ceremony, along with other senior officials from both organisations.
