It has been informed by Tanore Upazila Executive Officer Naime Khan that the child who fell into a deep tube-well in Tanore, Rajshahi, has been rescued and sent to the hospital.
The child was rescued on Thursday night.
After nearly 32 hours, Fire Service rescued the unconscious two-year-old child who had fallen into a hole dug for a deep tube well.
Earlier, rescuers had dug 42 feet into an abandoned deep-well shaft in Rajshahi in a desperate search for two-year-old Sajid, who fell into the narrow borehole.
The incident occurred around noon on Wednesday in Koelhat Purbo Para village of Tanore upazila, when Sajid slipped into a narrow hole with an 8-foot radius that had been dug for a deep tube well.
Since then, firefighters and local volunteers were working tirelessly to reach him.
