BYD, the leading global new energy vehicle manufacturer, has launched the upgraded version of its popular electric vehicle, BYD Atto 3, in Bangladesh with prices starting from Tk 49.90 Lac.

The Standard Range version offers a 345 km range at full charge, while the Extended Range version is priced at Tk 55.90 Lac with a 420 km range.

The launch took place on Saturday at the BYD Flagship Showroom in Tejgaon, Dhaka.

The BYD Atto 3 features a Lithium Iron Phosphate Blade Battery capable of charging from 30% to 80% in 30 minutes using a DC fast charger.

The vehicle runs on the e-Platform 3.0, enhancing performance, safety, and intelligence, and holds a Euro NCAP 5-star Safety Rating with up to seven airbags and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.

The upgraded model introduces a premium Thaumas Black interior with ventilated front seats, black-housed headlights, 18-inch bold rims, sportier styling, and an improved 12V Low Voltage LFP Battery.

BYD Bangladesh provides extensive warranty coverage: eight years or 160,000 km for the traction battery, eight years or 150,000 km for the motor and controller, and six years or 150,000 km for the vehicle.

Imtiaz Nawsher, Chief Marketing Officer of BYD Bangladesh, said Bangladesh is ready for the EV revolution and the company is working with partners, stakeholders, and policymakers to expand the charging network across the country.

The launch program included live demonstrations and interactive sessions with BYD experts, giving attendees a first-hand look at the innovations of the new Atto 3.

From 21 to 25 September, BYD Bangladesh will host ‘Atto 3 Week’ for customers to experience the upgraded model in person.
