BTS star V has revealed that he has been receiving treatment for hearing loss in his right ear, saying the problem has persisted for around two and a half years.
According to the BBC, V made the revelation during a livestream on Wednesday. “If the hearing in my left ear is at 100, it’s only about 30 in my right,” said the singer, whose real name is Kim Tae-hyung.
V said his hearing worsened during military service. He initially dismissed it as “a matter of mental strength” but now takes medication and visits hospital regularly.
The revelation comes as BTS reunites for its Arirang World Tour. During the livestream, Jungkook also revealed a shin injury and said he was “on the verge of developing a stress fracture”.
