Belgium’s Queen Mathilde held a meeting with Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Monday during an event at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
Additionally, former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown met with Prof Yunus, who was also joined by IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva at the UN venue.
Yunus arrived in New York on Monday morning to participate in the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The Chief Adviser and his delegation landed at John F Kennedy International Airport at 3:00 pm local time aboard an Emirates Airlines commercial flight.
