Bata Bangladesh reported a 256 per cent year-on-year increase in earnings per share (EPS) to Tk33.2 in the first nine months of 2026, while turnover rose 11 per cent to Tk779.8 crore.

The footwear company posted a net profit after tax of Tk45.4 crore during January-September. Third-quarter turnover increased 15 per cent year-on-year to Tk211 crore during July-September, said in a press release on Thursday.

The company also declared an interim cash dividend of 36.3 per cent.

Bata Bangladesh reported the growth amid challenging domestic and global economic conditions. Persistent inflation constrained household spending, while geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and other global uncertainties increased energy, production, logistics and raw material costs.
