Bangladesh captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz won the toss and elected to field first in the opening ODI of the three-match series against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club on Monday.
Bangladesh have gone with six batters, three pacers and two spinners in their playing XI.
There are four changes from the side that played the last ODI against Australia. Litton Das misses out through injury, with wicketkeeper-batter Nurul Hasan Sohan coming into the XI. Captain Miraz returns, replacing Sheikh Mahedi Hasan. Rishad Hossain has been preferred to Tanvir Islam, while Shariful Islam, despite claiming six wickets in Bangladesh’s last ODI, has been left out. The pace attack comprises Taskin Ahmed, Nahid Rana and Mustafizur Rahman.
