After clinching the T20I series 3–0, Bangladesh are back in action against Afghanistan, this time in the three-match ODI series. At the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz won the toss and opted to bat first in the opening ODI. This match marks the One Day International debut of Saif Hassan.
It’s Bangladesh’s return to ODI cricket after nearly three months, having last played the format during their tour of Sri Lanka in July. The team has gone with a combination of six batters, three pacers, and two spinners for this encounter.
