The 14th Independent Engineer Brigade of the Bangladesh Army conducted a special operation in the capital’s Shukrabad area around 9 pm on Wednesday based on specific intelligence information.
During the raid, the team arrested Nur Uddin Ahmed, alias “Dental Sajal,” a suspected illegal arms supplier, and recovered four pistols, five walkie-talkie sets, and several locally made sharp weapons from his possession.
Authorities said such drives will continue in the future to maintain law and order and ensure public safety. The public has been urged to report any criminal activity to the nearest army camp or law enforcement agency.
