Apex Footwear Limited secured three awards at the Retail Asia Awards 2026, winning ‘AI Initiative of the Year’, ‘Footwear Retailer of the Year’, and ‘Sustainability Initiative of the Year’, marking its third consecutive year of recognition at the Asia-Pacific retail event.
The awards ceremony, held in Singapore, evaluated nominees through a rigorous process by industry leaders from EY-Parthenon, Euromonitor International, KPMG, RSM Singapore, Kearney, and PwC Australia.
CEO Firoze Mohammad received the awards on behalf of the brand, joined by Head of Marketing Md Raihan Kabir and Head of Retail Business Arbabur Rahman, said in a press statement.
The accolades highlight Apex’s digital, retail, and sustainability achievements, including the Eid launch of Apex AI Stylist, which generated 390,000 personalised recommendations, 9,500 digital orders, a 90.4 per cent customer satisfaction score, and $19.1 million in sales, driving 7.5 per cent year-on-year growth.
On the sustainability front, Apex saved 4.6 million litres of groundwater annually through rainwater harvesting, operates Bangladesh’s only full-phase LWG Gold-certified effluent treatment plant, integrates solar energy, and recycles 451 tons of waste via a PET-to-product circular economy, reducing CO2 emissions by 2,507.20 tonnes last year.
Apex’s retail footprint now exceeds 500 stores nationwide, generating $5.45 million revenue during Founder’s Day 2025 and reaching 32 million people during Eid campaigns. The brand serves over 7 million shoppers, with 5.8 million registered loyalty consumers and a 57 per cent repeat purchase rate, cementing its leadership in Bangladesh’s footwear sector.
