‘Amake Uriye Dao’, the latest song release from ‘Rockstar’, directed by Azman Rousho and featuring Shakib Khan and Sabila Nur, has added fresh momentum to audience interest as the makers continue to unveil pieces of the story ahead of its Eid ul Azha release.
The song was released on Sunday evening across the official channels of SVF Music, Chorki and Billing Music. Running for 4 minutes and 41 seconds, it is written and performed by Ahmed Hasan Sani, with music composed by Zahid Nirab.
Earlier glimpses of the track had appeared in the film’s teaser, but the full version now reveals more of the narrative tone. The film’s protagonist, played by Shakib Khan as the character Agun, is introduced as a struggling musician who gradually rises to fame.
As his music gains popularity and his image appears on large city billboards, the storyline shows a transformation from an aspiring artist to a widely recognised rockstar. Fans within the film world celebrate his success, while his close companion, played by Sabila Nur, is seen supporting him through his early journey.
However, the narrative shift raises questions, as Sabila Nur’s character appears to fade from the storyline after his rise to fame. The film deliberately leaves this development unresolved, building suspense around her disappearance from his life.
The teaser material released earlier suggests that Shakib Khan’s character will be seen alongside three female leads across different stages of his journey, including Sabila Nur, Tangia Zaman Methila and Sunidhi Nayak.
Following the song’s release, viewers responded positively on social media platforms, with comments praising its appeal and energy. One user described it as “truly outstanding,” while another wrote, “pure fire… this will break records.”
According to the filmmakers, ‘Rockstar’ explores the life of a musician through themes of struggle, fame and personal reality. Director Azman Rousho has noted that his own background in music influenced the story, along with real-life experiences from the music industry.
Most of the film’s songs are written and composed by Ahmed Hasan Sunny, who also provides vocals, alongside contributions from Rajib Hasan, Hasan Robayet and Ankon.
The film is produced by San Motion Pictures Limited, presented by Anjan Chowdhury, with screenplay by Nusrat Mati and dialogue by Ayman Asib and Samiul Bhuiyan.
‘Rockstar’ is scheduled for a theatrical release during the upcoming Eid ul Azha. The film is further slated to stream on Chorki, although the OTT release date has not yet been confirmed.
