Akhter Hossen, member secretary of National Citizen Party (NCP), on Saturday called for the full implementation of the referendum’s verdict.

“We have to move away from that framework and formulate a new caretaker government system. The July Charter contains such a proposal,” he said while addressing a roadside rally in Fulbari upazila of Dinajpur.

NCP Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwary, Northern Region Chief Organiser Sarjis Alam, Joint Convener Atik Rahman Mujahid MP, Joint Chief Coordinator Abdul Ahad and other leaders also addressed the rally.
