Actress Prianka Zaman has welcomed her first child, a baby girl. Both mother and daughter are in good health.
The news prompted an outpouring of congratulations from fans and well-wishers. Marking the occasion, Prianka’s husband shared a special prayer on social media that is widely regarded as a beautiful supplication for the birth of a daughter or for young girls. The post quickly filled with congratulatory messages.
Prianka announced her pregnancy in January, a day before her birthday. Sharing the news, she described it as the beginning of a new chapter in her life and said she felt both delighted and emotional after learning she was expecting her first child.
At the time, citing her doctors, Prianka said her baby was due in July. She also revealed that she planned to undergo a Caesarean section on her doctor’s advice.
The couple had already chosen names for their baby before the birth. Prianka said they would name a son Affan Bin Rakib and a daughter Mariyam Binte Rakib.
Prianka married textile engineer Rakibul Hasan in a family ceremony in November last year. Just two months after their wedding, she surprised fans by announcing that she was expecting her first child.
The birth of their daughter marks a new chapter for the couple as they begin their journey into parenthood.
