Bangladesh have included Amite Hasan in their squad for the second Test against West Indies, replacing Mominul Haque, who has been ruled out due to concussion.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the 15-member squad on Saturday, making just one change from the first Test squad.
Mominul will miss the match in Sylhet because of the mandatory recovery period under the concussion rule.
According to the BCB, a player diagnosed with concussion must stay away from competitive cricket for at least seven calendar days before returning to action.
Amite, a right-handed batter, has earned a place in the squad following Mominul’s absence.
Meanwhile, experienced batter Mushfiqur Rahim has retained his place in the squad after missing the opening Test in Mirpur due to a finger injury.
Najmul Hossain Shanto will continue to lead the side, with Mehidy Hasan Miraz serving as vice-captain.
Bangladesh will look to bounce back in Sylhet after losing the first Test by eight wickets. West Indies took a 1-0 lead in the two-match series with their victory in Mirpur.
The second and final Test will begin on November 5.
