James Bond fans can own a piece of 007 history as costumes, props and rare memorabilia from the iconic film franchise go up for auction, with Daniel Craig’s suit from ‘Skyfall’ and Ana de Armas’ dress from ‘No Time to Die’ among the highlights, writes The Hollywood Reporter.
Organised by Propstore, the online auction features 400 lots spanning the franchise’s films, from ‘Dr. No’ (1962) to ‘No Time to Die’ (2021). Bidding is open worldwide and closes on 27 October.
Craig’s custom-made Tom Ford suit, shirt and cufflinks from the 2012 film ‘Skyfall’ are expected to fetch up to $53,000. The grey outfit appeared in the film’s opening chase sequence in Istanbul.
A dress and sandals worn by de Armas, who played CIA agent Paloma in ‘No Time to Die’, are also estimated to sell for around $53,000.
Other notable items include 14 first-edition books by Bond creator Ian Fleming, a poster for ‘Dr. No’ and a special-effects clapperboard from ‘Octopussy’.
Alastair McCrea, Propstore’s director of consignments, said the franchise’s enduring popularity across generations continues to drive interest in collecting its memorabilia.
