The officers-in-charge (OCs) of Tejgaon and Paltan Model police stations of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have been withdrawn from their posts due to administrative reasons.
They have been and attached to the headquarters’ Central Reserve Office and Admin Division. According to an order signed on Saturday by Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, the withdrawal and attachment orders will be effective from 22 August.
The withdrawn officers are Tejgaon Police Station officer-in-charge (unarmed police inspector) Kyasainu and Paltan Model Police Station officer-in-charge (unarmed police inspector) Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Khan.
Earlier in the afternoon, Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed made a sudden visit to Tejgaon Police Station.
