BTS has set a new concert attendance record at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after drawing around 130,000 fans across two sold-out shows in London.
According to The Korea Times, citing Big Hit Music, the K-pop supergroup’s Arirang concerts on 6 and 7 July attracted the largest per-show audience for any concert since the stadium opened in April 2019. The record was confirmed by concert promoter Live Nation.
The achievement adds another milestone to BTS’ history in the British capital. In 2019, the group became the first Korean act to perform at Wembley Stadium during its Love Yourself tour.
Across the two nights, BTS performed tracks from its latest album, including Hooligan, Normal and Body To Body, alongside global hits such as Idol and Fire.
“It felt like we were reliving the emotions we experienced at Wembley Stadium seven years ago,” the members said in a press release issued by Big Hit Music. “Thanks to your passion, we had an incredible time. It also brought back many memories from our previous concerts and once again reminded us just how passionate London is.”
BTS will next perform two concerts at Munich’s Allianz Arena on 11 and 12 July, becoming the first Korean act to headline the venue. The group will then continue the European leg of its world tour in Paris on 17 and 18 July before appearing at the first FIFA World Cup final half-time show on 19 July.
