Actor Arjun Kapoor shared an emotional tribute for his sister Anshula Kapoor after she married Rohan Thakkar in a private ceremony in Mumbai.
Reported by NDTV, Anshula and Rohan tied the knot on 6 July at a luxury hotel in Mumbai.
A day after the wedding, Arjun posted a series of pictures with his sister and shared a heartfelt message for her.
Addressing her as “Ansh”, Arjun wrote that she would always remain special to him, but he was now ready to see her begin a new chapter with Rohan.
“Today you start your new journey with Rohan, and my heart, mind and soul are so, so happy seeing you smile,” he wrote.
Arjun said he had watched Anshula grow into a wonderful woman who carries the values of their mother in every step of her life.
“You represent Mom every step of the way. Don’t you ever worry, because she is watching over you and blessing you all the time,” he wrote.
He also assured his sister that he would always support her and stand by her side.
“I’m always here, always got your back, and always making sure the smile never leaves,” Arjun added.
Arjun and Anshula lost their mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor, to cancer in 2012. During the wedding ceremony, Anshula kept her mother’s picture at the venue as a tribute to her memory.
