Bangladeshi rock icon James will perform in six European cities over a two-month period this summer, with the singer revealing the full schedule for his upcoming tour.
Although news of the tour had emerged earlier, details of the dates and locations had not been made public. James recently shared the itinerary on Facebook, confirming performances across the continent between July and September.
The tour will begin in London on 25 July. He will then perform in Portugal on 26 July, followed by concerts in Cyprus on August 9, Rome on August 16, Venice on August 22 and Sweden on September 5.
Known to generations of fans as Nagar Baul James, the singer remains one of the most influential figures in Bangla band music. Despite not announcing a new album or fresh releases, he continues to draw large crowds to concerts across Bangladesh.
Rubaiyat Thakur Robin, James’s spokesperson, said the tour would run for nearly two months.
“It’s a tour of almost two months. We previously completed a successful tour in America. We hope the European tour will be equally grand. Ticket sales have already begun, and expatriate Bangladeshis are looking forward to enjoying some memorable concerts,” he said.
James previously received an overwhelming response during a concert tour in the US. In 2023, he initially travelled there to perform 10 concerts but eventually completed 25 shows due to strong audience demand.
