Sony-Rangs has launched 48 models of refrigerators in Bangladesh under the DAEWOO, KELVINATOR and RANGS brands, expanding its locally manufactured appliance portfolio, the company said.
The products are produced at the factory of Rangs Electronics Limited and were introduced at an event held at InterContinental Dhaka on Saturday 18 April.
Rangs Electronics Limited has been manufacturing and marketing internationally recognised electronic products in Bangladesh since 1984, building its presence on reliability and brand partnerships.
The company established a refrigerator manufacturing facility in 2025 at Sylhet Hi-Tech Park, built on more than 120 acres and equipped with European technology.
It began production with six Rangs and four Kelvinator refrigerator models that year.
The latest launch expands the range to 48 models of varying colours and sizes, including 25 new units with capacities between 170 litres and 377 litres.
Sony-Rangs Vice Chairperson Sachimi Hossain inaugurated the event.
Senior officials from various departments, business partners, dealers and invited guests attended the launch.
