According to Toffee, the initiative reflects a people-first approach by simplifying how users stay informed during the election period, allowing access to trusted sources anytime and anywhere through a single digital destination.
The platform has onboarded all major linear television channels, positioning Toffee as a comprehensive digital utility for voters, with the election corner offering a real-time election countdown and round-the-clock live news streaming from leading local television news channels.
In addition to live broadcasts, users can access curated short-form news video updates as well as in-depth articles featuring analytical content and detailed reports to help explain key political issues and developments.
The feature also includes an interactive poll, providing users with a digital space to share opinions and reflect broader public sentiment throughout the election period, the platform said.

Banglalink Chief Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Officer Taimur Rahman said access to credible information is essential for meaningful civic participation, adding that the election corner brings verified news, insights and engagement tools into a unified digital experience.
He said the aim is to make trusted election information accessible nationwide while continuing to improve the platform based on user feedback.
